Painter-Sculptor has lived her passion for Life, Art and Nature that devotion search for knowledge and development of classical techniques set her mind to learn from the Classics and Grand Masters of Renaissance in Florence, Italy. There she lived for four years studying the academic method at the Florence Academy of Art and the Masters in Italy, studied from Art collections and Museums all through Europe. During the exhibits in Florence and NY, her drawings of the figure, still life's and Self portrait of 1996,
masterfully exemplified technique and handling of light and form. Her achievements in portraiture and still life, Dragon cast with red geranium acquired by Pennsylvania Art Collector. To fulfill her passion for Sculpture of the human figure, Masters in Sculpture, at The New York Academy of Art, Graduate School of Figurative Art. Founded and directed the Academia de Arte de Ponce from 2001-2007, Academia d'Arte Fiorentina, established on the west coast, in full believe of teaching the academic method to children of young age, students promptly demonstrated efficiency solid improvement of their skills. From 2002-2007, Art Professor at the University of PR- Ponce, encouraged her students, brought them to the Academia de Arte de Ponce and to make their studies and at the MAP, Museo de Arte de Ponce, home of the largest European Collection in Latin America, so they could fully embrace and appreciate classic art. In 2007, at her admission to Cuesta College Faculty, in Central Coast California, lived at the scenic Pacific Coast of California’s Big Sur and exhibited her work at the several art galleries and imparted her method at her studio. Since her last return to the island of Puerto Rico, with flowing brushstrokes and inquisitive search of light to masterfully paint water scenes, seascapes and landscapes. Her subjects: Portraiture and the study of the human figure in movement, water, waves and light. The Surf in our exotic setting of Puerto Rico and in the emerging and inquisitive manner of human figure makes an excellent background for new discoveries and studies. Inspired by the achievements of the Graves Family, Barbara Graves, Josie and Dylan, initiated her collection of portraits of our locals representing PR at ASP and other divisions, Dylan Graves and Brian Toth. From our National Team, Hector Santamaria, Chessy Montalvo, Josie Graves, Jose Tavarez among other surfers from Puerto Rico. In 2010, the Rip Curl Pro Search in PR, Kelly Slater wins his 10 times World Champion title. Currently part of this exhibit, Kelly Slater's private collection, at Teahupoo, 2010 .Victory Torso, from 1998, portrays his victory and legacy.
