PRE- AND POST-COLONIC CARE
Pre-colonic suggestions:
Two days before the colonic: Eat whole grains, fruits and vegetables (i.e.-- eat a potato, not a bag of potato chips). Drink freshly-pressed juices and plenty of water. Eliminate mucus-forming foods-- meat, dairy products, wheat flour, sugar. Avoid alcohol, coffee and processed foods (foods that come in a box or bag).
Two hours before the colonic: Stop eating.
One hour before the colonic: Stop drinking liquids.
Post-colonic suggestions:
Follow the pre-colonic dietary suggestions for the remainder of the day.
Stay well hydrated.
Rest, you may feel tired.
